CRANE OPERATOR
Due to continued success and growth of the company, we are looking to recruit an experienced Crane Operator. The candidate will play an important role within the Mechanical Build Team and will be responsible for operating a 130 tonne Grove mobile crane for mechanical installations and maintenance of various types of wind turbines.
Location: Throughout Ireland and Great Britain. The candidate will work predominately on projects in Northern Ireland and will be occasionally required to work on projects in Republic of Ireland and Great Britain in accordance with the needs of the business.
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

HGV Class 2 Driver / Crane Operator
Due to continued success and growth of the company, we are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Driver with Crane Operator certification. The candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting components, plant machinery and equipment. Primary role will be as a HGV Driver, however due to the nature of the business the candidate will be expected to be multi-skilled and conduct other tasks designated by management including operating a 130 tonne Grove mobile crane.

Assistant Electrical Project Manager
Due to continued success and growth of the company, we are looking to recruit an Assistant Electrical Project Manager. Reporting to the Electrical Department Manager and working as part of the electrical team, the candidate will be responsible for the planning of electrical installations from beginning to end and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Identifying customer needs, with the ability to work to briefs and schematics
Designing systems, reading design specifications and technical drawings
Providing clear and concise AutoCad or similar schematics
Essential Criteria:
Diploma/Degree level in Electronic/Electrical (or similar)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Engineering
Valid driving licence
Excellent Maths, Science, Technology and ICT skills
Practical experience of using electrical software to draw and interpret schematic drawings
Ability to analyse problems and assess possible solutions, with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise and plan effectively
Capability of working in a fast paced, changing priority work environment
Excellent team work and people skills, including a comprehensive understanding of electrical health and safety regulations
Knowledge and practical experience of 3 phase electric motors, controls, solenoids, relays and other assemblies
Experience of working with Ireland and UK Distribution Network Operator (DNO) Companies
Ability to travel throughout Ireland and GB and stay overnight in accordance with the needs of the business

Due to a high demand in the renewable energy sector, Green Energy Wind are to create 10-15 new jobs in Northern Ireland within the next 12 months. These jobs will fall into the categories of service and maintenance technicians, electrical engineers and mechanical technicians.
